    Great first cookbook for mediterranean diet
    We decided to move to a Mediterranean diet for health reasons. I purchase 3 cookbooks and this is, by far, the best one. As others have mentioned, the layout is fabulous, the recipes are easy to understand, and the interesting facts/country of origin are informative. I highly recommend this book.

    Good as a collection of recipes
    The recipes are the main reason I bought this book. I’m not a beginner to this diet, but this book has a lot of the staple recipes I already eat in one place, so that’s great for me. The meal plan is messed up. Whomever edited this book should be fired sorry. All of the recipes listed under lunches are desserts. I assume the dinner might be the lunch and the snack might be the dinner. I really wouldn’t say this book is good for beginners either. It doesn’t really explain the science and research behind the diet, which has lead as the world’s healthiest diet for years.

    I bought this book because we are constantly advised a Mediterranean diet is the healthiest.I’ve loved every recipe I’ve tried. Very simple & straightforward recipes.For anyone watching their weight I would caution the calorie count quoted is usually under considerably ( I record the recipes in a fitness app) however the portions (usually for 2) are huge so I’ve split into 3. I then freeze the other 2 portions.It really is a great starting place.

    The book over my expectations. The recipes are very simple and delicious, with clear, precise instructions that are easy to follow. There’s a great variety of recipes for everyday meals. My favourite section is the monthly meal plan, which really saves time on planning. The cover is bright and colourful, and all the dishes look so delicious. I’m very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it!
