Good and sturdy!
Iâve been in EMS for 16 years and bates is the only boots I wear! I love that they have female sizes and the fit is absolutely perfect. They are super comfy and lightweight. These boots take a beating, but they are so durable And it keeps me coming back. I love the zipper because it makes it so easy to put them on and take them off. plus they also keep my feet warm as well!

Tact boots for work
The boots are perfect. They fit perfect, Not too heavy. Comfortable, I wear them for about 12-16hrs per day walkin g on concrete and my feet do not hurt from the shoes. The boot is comfy and I love the zippr on the side so i do not have to lace them all the time i re-tie the shoes maybe twice a month. Hard to shine, could be user error as I do not know how to shine shoes, but yea

Very comfortable
This is my second pair of Bates and Iâm already a fan of them so it may be a little biased but these are very comfortable and lightweight. I like this style because it has the zipper on the side for quick off and on. Easy to clean and waterproof. The only thing I wish these were maybe an inch shorter so I donât have to get such long socks or they rub on my leg, itâs not painful or anything itâs just something I noticed. My last pair I had for about three years but after about the first year and a half the outer sold had a crack that made them not waterproof and the soles padding isnât as comfortable as it once was. I still have the old pair and wear them for yard work and dirty work that doesnât involve too much water. I hope these show the same durability Iâve come to expect from Bates. They are a great value for the price

Best boots for EMS / Tactical/ Active Duty Jobs!
10/10, these boots are my tried and true! They go past the ankle, at about mid calf height (which is perfect in my opinion) I had my original pair from 2020-2024 and sadly they had to be retired to the point the soles of the boot came off! I personally used this during EMS and now as a forensic tech, they are pretty water resistant until water reaches the calf area, as far as durability goes I this its great, and very functional for active/ on the go kind of jobs or activities. Definitely worth the money, and I also bought the same pair as my replacements (and probably will keep doing so- if need be in the future)!

Best boots Iâve ever owned
Genuinely these are the best pair of boots iâve ever owned. I just had to replace them after almost 2 years simply because they were so worn down from use that they werenât supporting my feet as well anymore, but other than that I never had a single issue with them. They are easy to put on once you get them tied how you like, they fit fantastic, are incredibly functional, and over all they are just damn good quality and great as an everyday year round boot. Pictures included show the difference of brand new vs how badly I wore them out. If you are looking for a solid work boot, or like me, a solid combat boot that looks cool but holds up well to wear and tear, I for sure recommend these.

Hard cheap boots
If I could give zero stars, I would. I initially planned to upload photos and videos as proof, but my husband returned the boots before I had the chance because I was extremely disappointed. For $90, I expected new, high-quality boots, but what I received appeared to be previously worn, cleaned, and resold. The pair arrived with visible scratches, and one zipper was completely broken, while the other seemed fragile due to a misaligned attachment.I attempted to try one on to determine if a reorder was worth considering, but the fit was extremely uncomfortable. The toe area felt as rigid as a steel-toe boot, making it difficult to imagine working even an hour in themâlet alone a full 10-hour shift. Additionally, the boot tongue had loose threads and poor stitching, further reflecting the subpar craftsmanship. Overall, this purchase was highly disappointing.

Great boot
Not as comfortable as the 5.11 ones.They are comfortable though, I wear mine for 12 hours a day, they are true to size , first two weeks while breaking in arenât so fun up around where the shaft area , where your foot bends.After the break in stages, they fit and feel nicely.Do fine on ice and snow, gives great ankle support.The insole is okay. I replaced with super feet insoles, I have planter fasciitis, so basic insoles donât do me any good.I work in all weather conditions and so far theyâre holding up.If youâre on a budget, these would be a good option.** update ***After 5 months or so the back on the inside finally gave out and started falling apart along with the tread on the outside on the back. I wore them out lolThey definitely get more comfortable after a month of constant wear .The zippers and Velcro straps started to go out and not hold and found myself re zipping and latching as well.Today I bought a new pair and may the joys of breaking in these ones be fun lolDefinitely worth getting if youâre on your feet all day and need a sturdy boot. Bates has definitely won my feet ð£.

True to size, I got size 9 womens. Had to get them for work. Theyâre okay, and the zipper definitely dug into my ankle. After being broken in they werenât as bad. Definitely will be using glue to keep them in tact, as I would never want to spend a dollar on these hideous boots ever again so long as I live. Expensive might I add, given its synthetic rubber material. Not particularly comfortable or warm, and also not cooling for the feet either.

I ordered my regular size, I have ordered bates tactical boots before in my size (7.5) so when I ordered these I ordered my size. When I received them they are way to big they are more like a 9.5. So disappointed
