Thoughtfully made mandoline
I really like the functionality of this mandoline. The blade is sharp, and it cuts onions thinly like a champ. I haven’t tried potatoes or tomatoes yet. I also think the user experience is easier than a traditional mandoline that lies flat on the counter. I don’t have to work as hard with this one. I like the variety of settings and I love the anti-slip legs with suction. They keep the mandoline firmly in place. As someone who has nicked myself more than once on a previous mandoline, I appreciate the feeder feature that protects your fingers.The only drawback to this item is that it’s a little hard to clean. A brush is included to help you get into the crevices, but there are some nooks where it doesn’t fit. I used a toothpick to clean the area behind the blade. A spray wand also cleans it well. My advice is to clean it immediately. I waited until onion had a chance to dry, and that made it infinitely harder. So I will at least rinse it right away from now on.

Great Slicer
I really like this slicer. It keeps your hands and fingers safe compared to regular mandolins.I like to cook Onion Fried Smash burgers on the griddle and this baby slices onions so you can see through them. Built good and sturdy and the rubber suction cups on the feet keep it firmly in place.

Engineered for safety
Itâs a little more complicated than a plain mandolin. Instructions are mandatory, donât lose them. One of my childhood horrors was the day my Mother let me help her in the kitchen with a mandolin. I imagine it was one of her bad days too, so I appreciate the thought for safety that went into this.

Worth the money
Love this mandolin. I made a batch of French fries for the freezer and this went through the 5 lbs of potatoes so quickly. It took me longer to peel the potatoes. It does have a manual which was nice as there are so many ways to change blades. Thatâs the only thing Iâm going to have to experiment with. This sliced the potatoes into nice fries. I sliced a potato to see if I would like it for scalloped potatoes. It again exceeded my expectations. Worth the money.

Should have bought this from the start
Should have bought this sooner. I bought a cheaper model and have sliced my fingers multiple times, because I didnât want to waste any of the food. This is safe and no food was wasted. Easy to set up and clean. Works amazing and is so easy to use. It may cost more than the cheap ones, but it is worth it.

Easy to operate slicer and quality product.
I love this slicer. I had to slice 10 large potatoes and finished in less than 3 minutes. All slices were nice and even and it moves very smoothly. Also love the fact the feet grip the counter top so no moving while slicing. Was easy to clean all pieces are easy to wash (comes with a small brush) and stores in a small area.

Works well took me a hot minute to figure out though had to sit there with the book beside me trying to figure out how to get it to dice but I did slice a lot easier than the other version I purchased year before last and the blade bent on the grid. Once I get the hang of it I’m sure it’ll save time and it will definitely save my fingers versus my usual mandolin. Looks like it’ll take about as much time to clean as my other mandolin lol but that’s fine. It was definitely a lot more effective for just straight slicing and took a lot less time. I’ll be glad to have this once I start dealing with produce for dehydrating or canning later.

Hallo, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Kauf. Man muss halt nur erst einmal die Einstellungen ausprobieren bis ma die passenden Funktionen hat. Was aber nach öfteren Benutzung, ma schnell aus hat und zum säubern ist es auch nicht so schlimm. Das Teil ist ja schnell zerlegt zum putzen. Ist gut und stabil, vorallem braucht m nicht mehr zig Messer, zum Stifte und Scheiben schneiden. Ich kann diesen Hobel sehr weiterempfehlen…Daumen hoch
