About the artist:
As a very little person, Kathy Weller’s favorite thing to do was draw. And now that little girl with a pencil — and some big ideas – has become an illustrator and designer whose whimsical work is appreciated around the world in books, on greeting cards, and many other products. This is a very cute book that I bought for a neighbor graduating from 8th grade. I ended up giving her something else because I felt some of the messages in the book, while being inspirational and beautifully illustrated, seemed more appropriate for someone older. The quotes are not faith based and would appeal to those with no religious faith.
