Thermos products deliver what matters every time. As the leading manufacturer of convenient insulated products for over 100 years, Thermos is trusted by consumers to provide innovative portable containers that promote a safe and healthy lifestyle. Thermos delivers when it matters. Thermos brand products offer superior cold retention that keeps beverages cool and delicious for hours, and the 2465 Vacuum Insulated Hydration Bottle is no exception. Thermos vacuum insulation technology virtually eliminates temperature change within the beverage container by creating an airless space between two stainless steel walls. The result is an insulation layer that performs better than any other. A superior insulated container you can depend on to keep your beverages colder, fresher, longer. This hydration bottle keeps beverages cold up to 14 hours more than 10 times longer than an ordinary plastic water bottle. Constructed with double wall stainless steel, this 18-ounce bottle is virtually unbreakable and built to withstand the demands of everyday use. A comfortable silicone grip makes the bottle easy to grasp and the bottle is sized to fit most automobile cup holders. The Thermos 2465 Vacuum Insulated Hydration Bottle comes equipped with a hygienic, push-button, locking lid which can be operated easily with one hand. And because of the double wall insulation, the stainless-steel body stays condensation-free with cold beverages. In order to maximize the incredible insulation technology, it is recommended to pre-chill the bottle just prior to use. This can be accomplished by filling the bottle with cold tap water, attaching the lid and letting it rest for a few minutes. Before you are ready to use, simply empty the water and fill with your favorite beverage. Attaching the lid will further increase the thermal efficiency.

    The perfect size!
I love this water bottle. It fits perfectly in my hand, fits into drink holders, and the mouth part is the perfect size. I only wish it had a little carrying handle. But I’m happy with it anyway.

    Stainless steel water bottle
I already had a similar water bottle and this one seems equivalent to that. Easy to clean.

    No carrying handle
I returned only because I wanted a larger bottle and I wanted a handle. Love the look and seems to be very handy.

    Perfect.
These things are excellent. I’ve been buying them for over 20 years. It’s an elegant design. Simple, functional, reliable. It keeps stuff cold for hours. I can park my car in the shade in the morning, and when I get out of work, whatever’s in it is still cold. That’s good enough for me.

    Keeps temperature well enough
I purchased two bottles in different colors because I wanted to replace an 6 year older version of Thermos that I’ve had in the same size and shape holding 18 oz. that had been rated for both hot and cold beverages. I had purchased two of them back then as well in the stainless steel and black grip so I could have one for coffee with caffeine and the other one that was decaf coffee for myself. One of them worked better because the steel clasp fit tighter than the other one, but my partner was happy with it because he doesn’t like his as hot as I like it anyway. It also worked well for hot tea. Unfortunately, when I wanted to buy them again, Thermos had discontinued their products and rated none of them for hot beverages, only as cold water bottles. I figured that it was likely because people like water bottles now and didn’t drink as many hot beverages when they were exercising or whatever. Personally, I prefer drinking water that isn’t cold as ice and just cool or room temperature so I can’t comment on how long these water bottles will keep icy cold for ya. Now for the pros and cons of these newer thermos bottles that are not rated for hot beverages.Pro: I was correct that it will work to keep my coffee or tea piping hot for my morning routine at least 4 hours, even with pouring it out frequently to warm my glass mug while I’m working on the computer. I don’t drink more than two 12 oz mugs of decaf coffee a day, but it does cool off faster than I like so that is why I keep it in the thermos. It also preserves the oils and flavor of my coffee better than when it sits in the glass carafe for two hours before my drip coffee maker automatically shuts off. It also saves me money because I’m not using electricity for two hours and that’s energy efficient. If I don’t drink all of it, then it stays warm for about 6 hours, and by the next morning, it is still tepid but I don’t have to microwave it as long to finish it up. It also allows me to make smaller pots of coffee so that we can both enjoy our decaf or caffeinated preferences. I’m happy with them and would purchase again, but they aren’t as sturdy or effective as my 6 years old version still are so I am hanging on to them as well.Con: Not as effective keeping the hot beverages as hot as my old ones because the heat escapes through the cap faster, although it appears to be the same basic style, the older caps were thicker plastic and likely kept the heat from dissipating as quickly as the thinner ones. To be fair, they aren’t rated for hot liquids so no drop in stars for that. However, this would obviously affect the poorer results for keeping cold beverages cold so not a 5 star rating. Also, the opening is too small to add ice cubes to overcome that factor and I understand the complaints other reviewers have on it that expect 14 hours of icy cold water. Cleaning these are simple if you only use water and are not drinking it straight from the bottle and pour it instead into a different cup. For us, the coffee oils that eventually will discolor both glass coffee pots as well as the thermos requires soap and scrubbing the brownish stains each week so it is not easy to keep them clean as again, the opening is super small and most brushes will not fit into them. I dropped a star for that because I’m sure there are folks that like to put ice tea in their thermos occasionally. Finally, the leak proof claim is dubious since the latch will pop off way too easily if you accidentally knock it over. If it is placed in a cup holder while traveling, it would likely be fine.Hope my review has clarified some of these issues that have come up in other reviews as I appreciate honest opinions of customers who have purchased these.

10 years on, still my favorite cold cup
I have tried so many mainstream, branded solutions for cold water drinking over the years. 15 years ago I found one of these on sale at the place I worked for. I in that time I have tried all the faddish, expensive competition that has come along. I always come back to these. They are EFFECTIVE at maintaining my water nice and cold for nice and long. But really, the other well-known options also do. What keeps me coming back to this is the mix of other attributes that this has that the others seem to be missing on one or the other. There are 3 main things that a cold cup needs to be effective:1- Maintains cold temp for long periods2- Easy to drink from/operate3- Easy to maintain/cleanAll the other mainstays seem to fail at either #2 or #3, or in some cases both. Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to create a lid with nooks and crannies??? We’re just inviting mold issues. This has a very wide opening so the bottle itself is easy enough to clean. And the lid itself has a wide opening and there’s no confusing mechanisms to fail and/or get dirtied up; just rinse occasionally, wash here and there, let dry and be done. Too much to manage? Top rack this SOB. It’s too easy. And usability? I’m sorry I’m trying to drink from this when I’m thirsty, I’m not trying to crack a safe. This baby can be effectively operated with one hand from the closed and LOCKED position to fully open and drinking in barely one second. Let that sink in. With your little (insert brand here), you’re having to use two hands — one to unscrew a lid or a cap while you hold it with the other? Thanks but no. With this cup, I pick it up, I thumb down the lock, then I press the button and “POP!” The lid swings open and clicks itself out of the way while you drink. it barely stops short of just drinking it for you. It can’t get easier or better than this.(There are cons. But I love these things so much I have to put them in parenthesis so that you read it quietly and they don’t hear you. 1- the lids are not what I would call rough and tumble. they can take a few hits here and there, but eventually — maybe a handful of years like for me, maybe a handful of months for you — it’s gonna take a hard spill lid-first, heavy from a full tank of water, and the lid will crack open. Which, since the seal is sort of dependent on the presence and pressure created by the lid itself, really kinda puts a damper on things to say the least. 2- No hook or lanyard thing. I do wish it had handle I could attach a carabiner to like my [insert brand here]. I still prefer these though, and have gone back to them because they solve my main 3 requirements with such grace that the ‘niceties’ the other brands add to theirs can’t detract from their lack of commitment to the 3 main requirements).

Alta qualidade do material e do isolamento térmico

I’ve used this water bottle for years but eventually if dropped at all, the lid is prone to smash to bits. Of course in an ideal world you’d never drop or knock over your water bottle but once the lid breaks its totally useless. If you could get replacement lids or somehow the lids could be more durable or even stainless steel as well, I’d absolutely pay for that. This bottle is the perfect size, keeps drinks cold the longest, has an opening that is good for ice, and can be drank out of while walking. I’ve been through a few bottles since 2017 and tried a couple of brands and styles but always come back to this one. That is my one critique and I’d be really happy to see that improvement.
