This 7 piece portion control container is so easy to use. Each food group/item is not only color coded but also written in words on each box. The handy dandy little chart is easy for tucking away in your purse to help you with portion control, food selections and menu planning.It even helps with creating your calorie counting and how many servings per day you should have. For such a small brochure it packs a whole lot of information in there. I also appreciate how easily the containers clean up when hand washed. There are small and although they are considerd dishwasher safe I’d just rather not take the chance. They are considered microwave safe and BPA free but I still don’t put them in the microwave so I can’t really speak to how well they hold up there. I like the small tabs you can use to help open, but some may find them hard to find or hard to use depending on the length of their nails. Overall a really excellent beginning not only for portion control but for storing any foods. Heavy duty plastic. Lids snap securely. Have not check for leakproofness as I use them for measuring and not storage. Came with a short how to use pamphlet. Have not downloaded anything. WM has a 6 sets for about $9. Would probably get those if I needed more.

Color code your health
I really like this portion control set. I have been looking for a way to carry lunch without going over recommended portions. The color coding on this makes it easy to keep organized and follow the plan. I didn’t have any issues with the lids. They were easy to pop off but secure enough to hold the food in. I have seen some mention that they are smaller than you think. I must admit for some reason I thought they would be bigger but that completely negates the whole reason for the containers. They are sized appropriately for the recommended portions of each individual food group. I included a picture with an iPhone charger to show the size comparison. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to control portions. These containers really put into perspective how much I have been over eating.

I cant picture my life without then they have changed my eating and improved my life. For a fraction of the cost of others. They hold off well and I love the pamphlet that came with them and food suggestions for each color … helped begin a great new journey to wellness for myself and my family washed and used everyday with no signs of wear light and easy to take with you anywhere love love love them. Would love to see an option added to add a little carry bag for travel

I ordered 2 sets of these from different vendors. I love the concept of portion control and this makes it very easy, especially since they tell you how much of each container you need each day based on the calories you should be eating daily. My problem is that I have had 2 crack in my first washing in the dishwasher….so I don’t believe they are dishwasher safe at all. I hope the other manufacturer’s hold up better. For eating at home, I am using a measuring cup based on the portions listed on the containers…which is super easy. These are good for travel or if you take your lunch to work. I gave 3 stars only for that reason.
