What Is T2?
T2, scientifically speaking, is 3,5-diiodo-l-thyronine and has had studies published by the NIH supporting claims of increased energy through optimizing oxidation and therefore energy expenditure.
A second study was conducted to explore these findings further in 2011. Antonelli et al at the University of Pisa, Italy, engineered an experiment that investigated long term administration of T2 on humans.
Two subjects, with normal thyroid function, volunteered to receive the T2 compound. Their body weight, body mass index, blood pressure, heart rate, electrocardiogram, thyroid and liver ultrasonography, glycemia, total cholesterol, triglycerides, free T3 (FT3), free T4 (FT4), T2, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and RMR were assessed and recorded at baseline and at the end of treatment.
Results
It was found that, in both participants, RMR increased considerably after treatment and after continuing the T2 usage for a further 3 weeks (at 300 mcg/day), body weight was reduced significantly (p<0.05) (about 4%), while the serum levels of FT3, FT4 and TSH, were unchanged.
It is also important to note that there were no cardiac side effects observed in either participant and that no significant change was observed in the same participants when receiving the placebo.

All day energy
I’m not sure why this works so well on some people but not on others. I suspect if you’re a “couch potato” you’re not going to get great results. If on the other hand, you do exercise regularly, all I can say is WOW! I sprint once a week on a high school track. Sprinting can produce anti-aging through the production of HGH/Stem cells from your pituitary. You have to go back to resting state before each 30 second “being chased by a Grizzly Bear” sprint. If you miss that cycle, you get no HGH. This is why HIIT does NOT produce HGH. So, this product easily demos increased energy with rapid recovery between periods. It also has the amazing effect of “Eagle” eyesight. An effect I also got from Taurine, but not as powerfully as this product. I do not plan on taking this every day, because it is unwise to mess with your fickle thyroid without monitoring it professionally. But feeling like Superman once a week when I do my sprinting is definitely on the agenda.

I Wanted This To Work
I really wanted this work, but unfortunately my body just does not do well with it. I tried this about 5 different times and on at least 3 occasions I experienced negative side effects of crashing, significant hypo symptoms and migraines once it wore off. T2 has a short half life from what I’ve read of about 6 hours and I think that is why I am having problems with it. It creates too much of a roller coaster swing. I have read articles on T2 and it does seem to have a similar effect as T3, but the short half life is what makes it impractical. Maybe other people will have a different experience from mine, but I want to add my review just in case someone does not have a positive experience. I was hopeful this would be a good supplement for me because it is nice you can buy it without a prescription and it is a thyroid hormone, but it isn’t worth it for me to risk trying it and getting yet another migraine. Before trying this my migraines had tapered off and it had been a couple of months since my last one. While trying this product I got 3 migraines in one weeks time all within the time frame of the product wearing off within 12 hours. I even tried dividing the dose into morning and afternoon, but I would wake up the next morning shivering cold, extremely fatigued and wham, I would get the migraine.I did not experience any weight loss.Customer service was great, they sent several emails to check on me, unfortunately the product just did not work out for me.

Thyro 2 gave me a raging headache
Very disappointed that I am unable to return this item for refund. I’ve taken it 2 days in a row, and both days I’ve had a raging headache, until I figured out the Thyro 2 is the problem. Save yourself $28.00 and order Westin Childs version. They work great. I thought I would save a few dollars and try this brand, only to find out I’ve wasted more than a few dollars.

It’s a legit thyroid hormone
It will definitely boost your metabolism, but you can’t expect miracles. The better your diet is and the more calories you’re burning the more weight this will help you lose. It works 100%, but it’s not going to make up for a bad diet and no exercise. If you are buying this thinking all you have to do is take this pill to lose weight, you’re going to be disappointed. If you are buying this under the impression that it will help you lose more weight while dieting properly and getting exercise then you’ll be very pleased with your results.

I feel energized along with brain fog decrease
My third day on this supplement and I cant believe how my brain fog and energy levels are boosted. First time in a while I was able to wake up early without feeling groggy or fatigued to go back to sleep. I struggle to wake up and stay awake since I have hypothyroidism. Today I felt like working out, run errands and play with my toddler without feeling drained. I also change my diet from big plates to now portion sizing, cutting out carbs and getting rid of junk food. I definitely will continue to buy theseI will update this review by end of this month once I finish the bottle. The first step is to feel energized and then weight loss will follow. This has changed!! And not for the better.
I was very pleased with my 1st bottle of this product. It didn’t have a lot of “extras” and very little fillers. I felt it was efficacious and was pleased to have found exactly what I was looking for. When the 2nd bottle came, I was in shock! The capsules were double the size and the list of fillers had greatly expanded. I suspected maybe there was more fillers than actual product now. I can’t say how disappointed I was to find the perfect product had been changed and for what?! I will not be purchasing this product again unless the manufacturer returns to the original makeup of the prior capsules. As an RN and former clinical researcher, I find the change to this supplement shady. We don’t need those fillers and many can be detrimental. Americans deserve to have good product without the chemicals & fillers – we are quite aware of quality and can’t be impressed with “bigger, better” attempts that have no value at all.
