BEST-ever liner gloves with smartphone touchscreen ability *******
THESE must be the very first and only – out of about 20 such thin black gloves I’ve purchased over the past few years that actually function PERFECTLY with a smartphone screen! I have many maaany gloves over the years as Winter arrives, and I need to wear gloves. WE are outside often enjoying the Winter scenes. I also use these gloves now daily even when NOT cold, simply to avoid germs while opening doors, pushing elevator buttons, during these post-covid days…. you get the idea. BUT I tested it outdoors and out in freezing temps wearing a coat, and they worked as advertised. Of course as the temps drop and the winds pick UP, it does get cold, after all, these are thin gloves that I’d usually use as a liner.NOW, what to do with the other 19 other useless worn thin glove liners that barely kept the fingers warm and do NOT function let alone WELL on touch-sensitive screens? Oh… I forgot to mention that as gloves to warm the hands in mid-30s windchill with a stiff wind. These are liners with NO real insulation, so if you don’t use an insulated REAL GLOVE on top, then you will feel the difference! Of course cannot stay out in the cold long, but at least they do retain some heat! They are warm for my fingers and hands, and functioning perfectly with my phone, an SSG a50 BUT as the temps get colder, NOTHiNG will maintain warmth as a REAL insulated GLOVE. Finally, a smartphone-capable glove! Will update as the days get colder. NEWS flash: Just found out these gloves will function perfectly with an automobile info screen. It worked perfectly well on mine within a KIA Niro Hybrid!UPDATE 29March 2023: These have been washed abt four times. Comfortable and still in great shape. Devices/Panels these gloves have been used with and with amazing accuracy:-Supermarket self checkout screens. NOT a problem!-Car touch screens-Laptop touchscreens-THREE individual different brand/makes of smartphones {SSG, Galaxy and now my UMIDIGI Bison GT2} and a motorola !!-tiny small screens of charge card devices at stores-gas station screen for accepting this or dat-GPS maps on devices/phones-EASILY use with DSLRs for shutter release, various back screen touch if capable, pressing/turning this that button/dial with NO problem!-Also STiLL using as a safety standby to open doors etc to keep hands safe warm without touching those surfaces touched by others – gotta stay safe even tho the pandemic is “over”UPDATE 9 Oct 2023: It’s early winter and though the temps are dropping just below freezing even during the day, I am still wearing/using the gloves just abt everyday and even when NOT cold. Still functioning well on touchscreens of ANY size and type w/o problems. Still continue to wash/dry normally as required with no affect on touch capability. With current temps just below freezing [32°f] and in a good wind these will last about 20mins at the most. If colder and calm/NO winds, they will last longer BUT I am not using these with any other thicker glove, since with a thicker heavier glove I will lose my ability to handle a camera which I do most every day!

Fit in pockets. Warm. Good purchase. Worth money.
Updated review after 2 wks.Got these gloves for short bursts of outdoor activity. Other reviews said they run large. That is not my experience. I have 8.5 glove size and these XL gloves are correct size. They stretch with time. They are comfortable.Grip is good. Good for cell phone swiping as well. Stitching quality is good. Cannot comment on durability since I just got them. I was surprised how warm these are. I have been wearing then outside in 30 degree weather and they are comfortable Warm and fit in my pockets. Would change my review to ” would recommend.”

Good gloves for the price
This is an update after wearing these for a month or so. Going from 2 stars to 4.When I am out exercising (walking or hiking) these are my absolute go to gloves. If you are generating body heat, these will hold it in, and keep your hands warm. They are also mostly waterproof.I couldn’t let my 2 star review stand (below) when I look for them every time I go out for a walk.I wear them to shovel also. These arrived today and it was 18 degrees and windy, so I decided to try them out.Used them for driving.First thing I noticed was that they worked on my phone. That was the one feature I didn’t care that much about, but a lot of people do, so they do work for that.Problem is, they aren’t warm. Gloves should keep your hands warm. These do not. That is job #1 for any glove. Keep my hands warm. They don’t.My hands got cold walking to the store from my truck. Under a minute. Cold. The material is strange, feels very cheap. Almost like putting a plastic bag on your hand.Don’t know or care if they are waterproof. If your hands are cold, wet is just another annoyance.

Perfect for the Admiralâs Club at TNC
These gloves will make you feel warmer and almost as comfortable as listening to Matt and Andy on Star Trek: The Next Conversation⦠plus, youâre much less likely leaving incriminating evidence behind if youâre shame-listening to a podcast about a 30 year old show that probably figured weâd be a little more evolved by the mid-2020âs. Oh well⦠the pod is decent⦠they really do the best they can.

Not 100% Waterproof
The gloves seem to fit well and look well made. However, the pads with the touch screen functionality are not waterproof! Great for dry winter days, but not so great when it is raining or dealing with snow. After walking about 500 yards in 38 degree rain, my the index finger and thumb had soaked through, rendering the gloves useless for keeping your hands warm. I will keep these for drone flying or jogging, but will find something else for inclement weather.

Extremely warm gloves!
I highly recommend these gloves for anyone outside in the cold weather. They are very durable and you can still use touchscreen. They are thick gloves and the functionality is great. I need gloves when I take my dog out and use her scooper. Only small dislike is they run slightly small so I would size up or two from your normal glove size.

I would not recommend these gloves for running or cycling as they are advertised. They’re bulky and the material compensates with thick fabric to keep hands warm. I run often and tried these gloves multiple times, they were not comfortable and unsuitable to the sport; the same applies for cycling – you can’t get a tight grip on your handle bars!

Good value for money. Happy with the product but not very warm while riding outdoor in winter.

Hard to determine the appropriate size from the listing but the product is good otherwise
