How did we get our start?
The ah-ha moment happened when Co-CEO and Co-Founder Heather Hasson was grabbing coffee with a nurse practitioner almost a decade ago. She couldn’t believe that her friend spent grueling 16-hour days serving others while wearing boxy, scratchy, and uncomfortable scrubs.
With a background in fashion, she set her sights on revolutionizing the industry by creating technically advanced apparel for the modern healthcare professional.
She partnered with Co-CEO and Co-Founder Trina Spear to not merely improve scrubs, but to completely transform the healthcare experience.

When we started FIGS, we created our Threads for Threads initiative to donate scrubs to healthcare professionals who work in resource-poor countries and lack the proper uniforms to do their jobs safely. Very expensive. Several nurses report the scrubs are worth it so we shall see⦠very comfortable. Run small, order up a size if u like a little wiggle room. Wash well, no ironing.

Low Cut, Not great Pockets
I just do not like the FIGS shirts. I want to because FIGS are a different color of navy than the other brands (cherokee, healing hands, etc). FIGS navy is a darker more purplish color. But this shirt was too tight in spots and low cut V neck. Not a fan of where the pockets are either. Just not great. Returned it, and found that SPIRIT tops match the navy color of my FIGS bottoms perfectly.

I had to buy new Figs to replace my 7 year old Figs and Iâm so happy with my purchase. The true and tide Figs I know and love! Wonderful soft yet durable material. The top itself doesnât give much stretch. True to size and fit though so definitely get what you usually would. The material is amazing too!
