The Deeper Tone
I really like these Himalayan singing bowls. They really do ground you. I love the deeper tones of them. I like the ones with high sounds as well. I just like deeper tones more. The only complaint is it really is not all that loud but the vibrations are stronger once you hold one hand to it while using the other hand to make it sing. Thanks so much for these types.

Best sound instead of 3″, don’t waste your money on 3 ” This is best I got both
Good size bowl and has a pleasing tone. The striker is not as good as a round white rubber globe on a stick. Tried to use the wooden striker it came with and it does not give a pleasing sound. I would buy this again due to its larger size. Compared to many “singing” bowls this is much larger. It is pricey but one only needs to buy it once and keep it secure and not lend it. I bought the small 3 inch ones and was disappointed. Solid brass. Can be highly polished using “semi-chrome” (a Brand name made in Germany polish on “Amazon”) polish as I have done. Comes with a small circular cushion and a wooden striker that a too thin strip of suede or thin leather on it which does not give it a nice tone. A small hammer with a rubber face will make it sound better. That is the only issue I found. I use it for “Centering Prayer”. Good for starting and ending a centering prayer session of 20 minutes or more. No need to buy anything larger. I may mount this on a piece of wood with a piece of rubber between the bowl and wood or just set it on one of those “silicone” pot holders either round or square. Such a silicone holder can be folded up and stored inside this bowl as it is large enough to hold one. Me, I would prefer a Round pot holder any color will do. Do Not waste your money on a smaller one. This is , to me, the perfect size. I am afraid of glass bowls so I bought this. The price is right too. Comes with a wood striker wrapped in suede and a cushion but I found a circular ” silicone” pot holder which is a perfect fit although a square “silicone” pot holder is also fine. Sorry I did not see this first. It is a great investment for teaching meditation or centering prayer. A “Silicone” ball striker works best but will NOT make the bowl “sing” (that is continue to make a sound as you roll it around the bowl). My first rubber (NOT A SILICONE ONE) is not my recommendation. A bummer so I returned it. Deserves an honored place where you live. Don’t lend it you may never see it again. You can enjoy this by yourself or with others.

Beautiful!
Iâd looked locally and had no luck finding a bowl with a deeper tone. I didnât want a crystal bowl, as this will be used at my practice and didnât want anything that may break. Iâll also note, this is my first singing bowl. The weight of it when I took it out of the box was hefty. I set it on the doughnut, struck it and it resonated for at least 30 seconds on its own. She sang so well the first time I circled the mallet around the edge. Highly recommend this!

Very good but could be better
I really like the size and tone of this healing bowl and the packaging ensured an undamaged arrival. The cushion underneath leaves a lot to be desired and reverberation resonates thru the cheap styrofoam material the cushion is made of. That should not be a deal breaker for anyone interested in this healing instrument because you could hold it in your palm or find an alternative cushion.

Fantastic Sound!
I am a Sound Practiotioner, so I generally will make an in person purchase based on feeling and hearing the bowl. I was skeptical. Very. I was also in a hurry and needed a sample bowl by the next a day for a presentation. It was inexpensive and my hope was it had just enough of an acceptable dual tone for me to use it as an on the go sample.I was really very shocked. This bowl surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. It has a strong beautiful tone when I strike it and a steady beautiful tone when I run the rim.I like it so much, it has been merged into my sound set. Wonderful purchase!

Good not great. Nice for beginners.
If you hit it too hard it has a tinny/cheap sound, plus it is MUCH SMALLER than it looks in photos. But I am still keeping it because once you learn how to hit it, not too hard, it sounds pretty nice and is overall a good starter bowl for beginners. It does look nice.Better than the super cheap, super small ones, but definitely still on the cheap/small end of bowls. You get what you pay for.
