From summers running around in the woods as a kid, all the way through my deployment with the military, I pretty much always had one of these bottles.Then my wife got me on metal bottles, and I kind of forgot about the trusty ould Nalgene. Then a few weeks ago I was getting ready for a hike (first time in probably a decade) and was figuring out how to cut weight and add water to my load, and remembered them.They’re a great size, the lide is easy to work one handed, they don’t leak, and the wide mouth makes it easy to quench your thirst in a hurry. 10/10! Don’t sleep on the tried and true options.

Holds up great. Ridiculously easy to clean. It never leaks. Rarely gets a smell, but thatâs easily avoided if you know how to prevent mildew/bacteria growth – whenever it happens, I just apply some vinegar underneath the ring seal, lip, and lid before giving it a normal wash.Fantastic value.

Practical
Practical and simple. He loves the wide mouth design that offers him the ability to add ice, mix in electrolyte replacements and is complimented with the flip top lid for easy transport. Would recommend to all ages unless you have difficulty with a wide grip then I would opt for a thinner bottle.

Sturdy bottle, good seal
I bought this to be able to take my own distilled water with me when I travel with my CPAP. It’s a good, sturdy bottle and seals well so I don’t worry about packing it in a checked bag. Now I don’t have to stop at the store when I get to my destination.
