Perfect wake up shake
I have been using this protein powder for over 10 years. The ingredients are simple and the taste is not chalky nor artificial.While I have wavered to other vegan powders (truvani, orgain, vega, garden of life, etc), every time I compare those brands to this one.If you’re new to protein powder, I suggest trying this one out. I drink it every morning with 8oz of oat milk, 12 oz of water and a little collagen powder in a shaker cup. I’ve also made shakes with oat milk, half a banana, some peanut butter (or pb2), a 1/4 cup scoop of oats and ice. If you’re not on a low carb diet sometimes it’s good to add in the oats and blend well.Not only does it help me with more protein, I feel like my morning exercise has a little more energy than when I dont have it.

Unflavored is Delicious
This is all I buy, I love it. I get the unflavored and itâs exactly what I like, I donât like things too sweet, or really sweet at all! I like to add my own sweet. I sometimes mix it with my cereal milk (I make my own cereal with pecans and dried cranberries etc) and itâs so great to have body powering cereal milk!! I am so happy they have unflavored because itâs hard to find, everything has vanilla or chocolate or some sort of dessert substitute and I am not interested in that at all. Itâs a win and I can put it in everything from fruit smoothies to cereal milk to just a glass of milk and it is so delicious. It tastes slightly earthy without any taste of salt or sugar and it mixes very well. Highly recommend and itâs all Iâll ever buy!! It is very good for you. Texture is great, not tacky and doesnât clump up. I have a nutribullet I use it in but itâs been able to mix well just by adding it to cereal (even with cereal in it) it gets stuck on the spoon but Iâve even slurped that off (donât recommend that but yah gotta do what yah gotta do sometimes) hope this helps!

Prepare for Unfavored
I bought this protein supplement because I am lactose intolerant and use whey protein. I saw I get more caloric “bang” 19g protein/100 calories vs the 17g/90 for the vanilla flavored. I like the vanilla flavored one (I just didn’t want to add any “natural” sugar substitutes in my body if I didn’t have to).Anyways, unflavored is exactly that. It is Un-Fla-Vored… Whew, it almost curled my toes and it is something of an “acquired taste”. I read via the comments it taste similar to cardboard. Close, but add grittiness just some viscous liquid to it.Just wanted to prepare you for it. Obviously, I have no way to actually measure the protein content, but I am just putting my faith in the manufacturer’s claim. I enjoy it and it appears to be providing me the protein supplementation I need for my workout recoveries.

I love that I can add other fruits along with this drink for an even more nutritional value. It is very filling and give me the right amount of protein needed. After the pandemic, I’m glad Sunwarrior Mocha is back for order to Canada. It’s a bit pricey, but actually lower now than a couple years ago; but I think it’s high quality and tastes great. I use it after workout, mainly for the calories and taste, not necessarily for the protein as protein need is exaggerated. I always look forward to rewarding myself with this drink.
