Easy way to stay hydrated
This Sahara Sailor water bottle is great. It holds a quart of water and fits in the cupholder in my car unlike other 1 quart bottles I have. As an older woman whose hand strength isn’t what it used to be I appreciate the narrower width. It allows a good grip to remove the lid without having to set the bottle down to get leverage. The flip top lid hasn’t leaked and the company provides one set of replacement gaskets.The Sahara Sailor water bottle is designed for cold liquids so is not insulated for hot liquids.A minor negative for me is that it is handwash only. It does come with a bottle swab that is a tad too short for cleaning the bottom of the bottle, but if you put a dish rag in first you can use the swab to swirl the dish rag over the inside to clean the bottom. It comes with a fairly long nylon wrist strap which needs to be towel dried if you want to use it staight away after washing the bottle.

The Sahara Sailor Water Bottle 32oz is great. Shipped and arrived on time from the seller and is as shown. I ordered it because I do try to drink enough water daily, but wanted a see through bottle with the hour and ounce markings to make it more visible to myself and achieve that daily intake goal. That approach won’t work for all, but it helps. It comes with a wrist strap and some replacement valve parts for when the current ones wear out or fall off and get lost. I’ve been using it daily for multiple weeks now and it goes everywhere. Seems pretty durable, but I bought two so i have a back up for when i break the first. I’d recommend them. 🙂

Okay, I bought this in 2023. It is now 2025. This thing has been on some adventures. Most recently it was sitting on the hood of my car when the wind blew it over. The plastic lid hit concrete, like full on fall. Not a scratch. The worst thing to happen to this water bottle is the time and droplet markers are fading with age. Best plastic water bottle I have had in a long time. Boyfriend saw the fall happen last night and said straight up to write you guys “a friggin 5 star review cause they deserve it”. Can’t agree more. You won’t regret this purchase!

Needs an Insulation Sleeve
Great product, no leaks after I figured out it has a washer that stretches around the area right under the cap. No more leaks, it does sweat, and the beverage gets warm fast, could use an accompanying insulation sleeve.

High quality water bottle at a very reasonable price. Comes with long brush to clean the bottle and replacement seals for the mouth piece and lid! Has air release so you can chug the water and there no pressure building that keeps you from drinking freely. I bought another one after seeing the quality of the first one I bought.

Indestructible? Possibly!
Picture this: My water bottle sits on my suitcase on a second-floor hotel walkway in an arid West Texas city where everything is landscaped with rock and gravel. It’s full of water, so it’s heavy. It tips gracefully and falls through the air toward the rock landscaping. My first thought is “Well, heck – I liked that water bottle. I’m going to have to buy a new one.” It lands hard in the rocks and bounces onto the sidewalk. The top pops open and water starts pouring out. I sigh and head downstairs to throw the destroyed buttle in the trash. But when I reach to pick it up, I see no cracks, no chunks missing, and the top snaps neatly back into place. My bottle survived that fall with minor scuffs, but no damage, and kept me hydrated during the last leg of my trip home. I’m impressed. It might be indestructible.

UPDATE 2 (and the final one): It has been almost a year since I updated! Even though the spring didn’t work anymore and it leaked if sideways and it often dribbled down my chin to my shirt because the cap broke (not my fault; bad quality-see my previous update), I continued to use the bottle (carefully) for almost a year. I filled it three times everyday and was just super careful not to tip it. I bought it May ’22 and it’s June ’23 and the writing on the side was coming off from cleaning. Those were all issues I was able to fix and make-do, saving it from the landfill… but– today was a sad day. I thought I had the strap in my hand when I got out of the car but it was a strap on my keys and when I let go of the bottle, it fell to the road. It was recently filled and the bottom completely broke apart (see last photo I added) and my icy water splattered all over myself and the road (plastic shards too). This bottle is not shatterproof so do take care with it. It was one of my favorites for so long. I loved the colors, it was easy to clean, and it fit in our car cup holders. Time to move on now. The only reason I’d repurchase is because of the colors at this point. I did add another star back because I was able to keep using it for just over 1 year which is amazing considering the durability was lacking in important areas (lid and shattered easily) and it DID help me drink more water throughout the day. I stopped using the tick marks but knowing I needed to fill it up 3x and being able to see the water inside was helpful enough for me.UPDATE: I bought this May 2022 and itâs July 2022. I needed to drink lots of water for a doc follow up appt and filled this up as usual and took it in the car. When I reached to unlock it for a drink, the lid violently flipped open and a piece flew off somewhere in my car. So now sadly it wonât stay lidded. I took this bottle everywhere with me over the past 2 months and except the heavy sweating it started doing once the temps got hot, and the metal bar sliding out from the lid (see below), it was a near flawless bottle. What happened today is not fixable and honestly, the loose metal bar didnât cause it. So, it still works as a water bottle without a lid now. Iâm sad and very disappointed. Unfortunately I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. I also added 2 more photos of how it broke. I really loved this bottle until now.ORIGINAL review:I got the âdark rainbowâ. Thought it was black and red but more of a blue and redâ- depending on the light (see photos). But I actually like how it is more than what I thought Iâd get.Pros:*Leakproof so far. I can hold it upside down or lay it down and it wonât leak (see photo).*The strap is surprisingly strong given the thin plastic ring that holds it to the neck of the bottle. The strap also dries quickly after a wash.*it does itâs job to get me to stay on track driving 3L of water a day. I had massive kidney stone removed and never want to go through that again. Doc said 3L should be my goal. So Iâve adjusted the bottle slightly in that I refill it before lunch so the 1pm goal is really my 11am goal and before dinner so the 7pm goal is really my 5pm goal. Then I finish one more bottleâs worth by the 7pm goal- to be finished plenty of time before bedtime. The markings still help me keep track despite my slight adjustments and I can say I drink 3L a day now.Cons (not enough for me to deduct a star in my overall rating):*the metal bar that holds the lid onto the cap slides out occasionally. I know just double check it is in place before opening.*although I prefer a 32oz bottle to be taller than fatter, I wish I could fit it into my bike holder. Itâs a harder plastic so there is zero give to squeeze it into the holder. Also, itâs a bit too narrow to fit in our big car cup holders without rolling all around in them. They wonât fall out to the floor thankfully but I usually have to keep it on the seat instead (thankfully it doesnât leak).Overall, after a month of use, I liked it enough to buy a second (black/gray) for another family member to drink more water.

This is an outstanding water bottle. It’s pretty and very functional! It had no leakage problems. This is my second time ordering (my first one lasted 3 yrs, even after being accidentally dropped a lot).

The quality is amazing, and the design is attractive. It takes carbonated and still drinks, and even comes with a cleaning tool (a long sponge on a stick). The most critical thing for me is that, because it has a diameter of just over 60 mm, it fits in the pocket of my work bag which is designed to hold one of the disposable 500 ml bottles of water from a shop. Highly recommended.
