Beginner Friendly
As someone who has never owned a sound bowl before, I was nervous and I was definitely doing it wrong the first few times. Hereâs some tips if youâre struggling.Make sure you donât hold the bowl, place it on the hand or the cushion so that the sides are untouched. When tapping with mallet make sure you do the outside of the bowl, around the mid area.(make sure itâs a decent force tap) then begin using the mallet on the outside the bowl in circular motion(do not do this lightly, you can keep it slow but press the mallet into the bowl, this will give the best sound amplifier) and then you can go faster if youâd like.
