A thoughtful and beautiful journal for processing grief and remembering your loved one—including guided writing prompts, creative mindfulness exercises, and space for preserving photos
When a loved one passes away, the most common response from well-meaning friends and family is “there are no words.” But processing our feelings and journaling our thoughts can, in fact, help us heal. As an internationally recognized calligrapher and watercolor artist who lost her father at the age of 13, writing and art have influenced Brittany DeSantis’s entire life for the better.
Through a beautifully painted and guided keepsake journal, readers will be encouraged to use their words to reflect on and honor those who have passed with the following activities and sections:
Repetitive writing exercises and mindful breathing exercises that help alleviate anxiety and overwhelmThoughtful prompts to commemorate, celebrate, and cherish those who have passedPages for attaching photographs, keepsakes, cards, and mementos in a convenient covered-spiral formatSpace for reflection and letters to loved onesHand-painted quotes and words of wisdom that can be bookmarked or removed and framed
While this grief recovery handbook is not a substitution for therapy or mental health advice for anyone coping with the stages of grief, it is a thoughtful journal to help people heal after loss and commemorate their loved ones.
If you or someone you know has lost a loved one, Forget You Not is a beautiful heirloom gift that replaces the standard “I have no words” with “Here’s how to find yours and remember theirs.”

A helpful tool in my grief journey
This is a great tool for someone experiencing grief of loss. It was given to me as a gift after my husband passed away. I found it very helpful and I bought it for a friend who lost her spouse.

Beautiful book to remember loved one
This is a beautiful grief journal for anyone going through a loss of a loved one. Not only is it physically beautiful, filled with many doodles and encouraging quotes in script writing, but itâs emotionally beautiful including calming exercises to work through as well as inserts for pictures and memories to look back on. This journal is very well made and itâs really nice quality. I love how thoughtful the prompts are and know it will be a treasure to hold onto. This is a wonderful gift for someone grieving or to buy for yourself during a hard time.

A gift
Recently purchased this for a friend whose 34 year old son passed. When they say there are no words, itâs true. Iâm hoping that my friend receives this book as a sign of my love for her. It came sealed so you canât open the pages, which I like. But the outside says that you can put pictures on the pages and you journaling can help build a memory and a tribute to her son. ð

Beautifully made
Bought this for my Oma; itâs our 2nd Christmas without Opa and Iâm hoping this will be an outlet for when the grief becomes too much for her, as well as a space for her to put all of her love on paper. Itâs beautifully crafted and I like that itâs hardcover with spiral binding as I feel like itâll last well over time. Thank you for creating and offering something so meaningful.

As I read through this journal, I realize that Iâm not alone. The author has done an excellent job providing tools to help reflect on memories, remember the good times, and offer ideas for coping on tough days when grieving the loss of a loved one.
