Thaws Fast
Was skeptical but this actually really works! Itâs lightweight and thin to make storage easy, but still feels well made. This has been crucial for me as a working mom who often needs a quick thaw for dinner. Iâve used this for steak and salmon and itâs a good size to fit multiple cuts. This is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. You want your meats, etc, to be 155 degrees or more. If you take items out of the freezer, or the refrigerator, and donât let it come to room temperature before cooking, youâre asking for trouble with bacteria.There are others, but I chose this one, and Iâm happy with it. Itâs magic how it defrosts.Itâs a simple thing, but works very well.

I did a test using 0.5 lb of frozen carne al pastor that was past its best-by date: one bag on a regular plate, the other on this defrosting tray. After 34 minutes, both were still frozen, but the one on the tray was slightly more thawed. Nothing dramatic though.The tray didnât do anything bad, but it also wasnât life-changing. If youâre expecting your meat to thaw in record time, this probably wonât blow you away. Itâs slim and easy to clean, so thatâs a plus. But honestly, if youâre just working with small portions, a regular plate and a bit of patience will get you about the same result.

I was skeptical about how well this would work but let me tell you itâs amazing! I put an ice cube in it and watched it melt so fast. It cuts the thawing time down a lot. In about 2 hours my meat is thawed and ready to cook. It never thawed that fast sitting on the counter. The best part is you donât have to remove the meat from the package to get it to thaw. Iâve thawed meat in the foam pack from the store and sealer bags without any issues. I was so impressed with this that I bought my oldest son one.

Does exactly what it claims, put some frozen chicken on it when i got home and within 2 hours it was thawed out enough to cook and cut with. Also did the ice cude test they showed in their description and the ice cube melted within minutes compared to one on a plate.
