Delicious and clean protein
This whey protein is clean and delicious. When you add to milk with ice in a blender, it is like having a vanilla shake. I like that is doesnât have any of the added aminos, etc. also.

Tasty in smoothies
It mixes well in the blender for smoothies. It is a little heavy on the vanilla flavor for me, but it’s still tasty.

For a first time protein shake maker, pretty good!
Overall, a good protein powder for someone just starting to get into this protein shake game. Here’s my recipe: in the blender add 1/4 cup of milk (I use organic 2%), 3/4 cup cold brew coffee, 2 scoops of protein powder. Blend blend blend. Stop blender, add 10 ice cubes. Blend until smooth. This makes about 24 oz of shake, the consistency is like a milkshake (would probably be even better if you have a better blender than my boyfriend’s cheap bachelor blender). The taste is not as good as the mocha java jolt shakes at my gym (which is what I was trying to replicate), but good enough. Sometimes I add cinnamon or almond extract. 24 oz of this shake is my 10am “snack”/post-workout treat [breakfast at 7:30, shake at 10, lunch at 1, dinner at 6]. If you are a Noom user like I am, this is considered a red food. Whole shake ends up 180 calories (give or take, depending on your milk). I don’t think it is overly sweet. I do wish it tasted a bit more chocolaty. When I finish the container I’ll buy it again (or try the organic version).Note about packaging… I get that when the container is filled, there’s a lot of air in the product… but so much plastic waste once the powder settles down. The container is basically half empty by the time it reaches the consumer, and these are not small plastic tubs. This thing doesn’t even fit in my cabinet, I have to keep it in the closet with the appliances.

Tastes Great, Easy to Mix, Good Energy
The vanilla is very good. It gives me a lot of energy for working out. It’s easy to mix. I use a blender, usually. I can mix it with fruit, veggies, and other things without any concerns. It makes a thick shake. I also add it to other things like oatmeal, sugar free pudding, and soups and sauces. It like it a lot. My oldest kid likes it, too. He pours it over his Special K every morning adding chopped strawberries and bananas to the top. He also agrees it gives him a lot of energy, too.

Delicious protein powder
Itâs so hard to find a quality protein powder that also tastes great, but I love Orgain Grass-Fed Whey. I mostly use this in smoothies, but I also will use it in oatmeal and iced coffee. The flavor doesnât have that âfake sugarâ taste and mixes well in both hot and cold. Iâve been using this for 5 years and will continue to use it!

Clumpy
Taste is ok but clumps up a lot more than the chocolate flavor. Will stick with chocolate.

Great taste; worth paying a bit more for
I am not in the habit of writing reviews for my Amazon purchases, but Iâm making an exception for this product. For over a year, I purchased a different brand, but I was dissatisfied with its flavor and the way it didnât dissolve thoroughly in (almond) milk. I decided to take a chance on this Orgain powder, and Iâm glad I did! The flavor is excellent, and it dissolves much more thoroughly than the other brand. Even though it costs a bit more, it addresses my nutritional concerns and, aesthetically, itâs worth the extra cost. I will definitely buy it as my âgo-toâ protein powder going forward.

It is too sweet. Overall taste is ok. But even I use a shaker to shake the powder, some powder crumb together.
