Size matters
I rated these 5 stars due to the thickness, high polished finish and smooth edges. These utensils are well made and yes the grips are great. HOWEVER: If youâre a person with small hands like me; you may not like this set. They are very large including the grips. The ends I.e. spoon head, spatula head etc. are large. The necks are long and the grips would make Shriek happy. I bought them because of the black handles and the stainless steel materials as I threw out all my black plastic pieces as Iâm sure some of you have done too due to the article that said they were toxic. Well a few days later they âcorrectedâ that statement and now they arenât. Oh well these will come in handy for large pot cooking but Iâll probably have to use both hands! And donât expect to get anything else in the utensil crock with these. The one that comes with it is fine but I prefer my round one to this rectangular one. I didnât put all of them in the crock so I could get some silicone pieces that I have in there.

Oxo kitchen utensil set
So far I like the product except for the water spots. I have only used the spatula so far and havenât had any issues with it. Looks like a good quality set.

So like others I’m freaking out over the latest reviews about black plastic utensils that I’ve got. I wonder if that has been populated by the stainless steel industry? Anyway, I wanted to replace what I had with Metal.OXO is a great company. I’ve got other products from them over the years. The utensils are in keeping with their heritage. Handles are nice and long and feel to be heavy duty. The spoons are good sized. The ladle is substantial, I wouldn’t call it too big but it’s nice size. The only takeaway as others have expressed is the holder they ship with it. OXO if you guys read this, maybe you can hire me and I could be a product designer for you. Twice a month I run into stuff that’s just incredibly poorly thought out. The holder is another fixture of corporations today can’t figure out how to think. It’d be like putting a 15 inch tall flower into a 2 inch cup. It’ll end up in the trash and it would’ve saved us all 2 dollars if they didn’t ship with that but the utensils are still worth buying.

Great Set
Bought this to replace a ceramic utensil holder that was sitting on my counter. This is much better because it sits closer to the wall and holds everything I need including what came with the holder. The utensils that came with. It are perfect for my new pots and pans I would recommend this holder and the contents.

These were high quality than I expected. Well made and sturdy. I dishwasher them and they were good. Will have to see how long they last. The stand is a great addition with water spout.
