I tend to buy from older established supplement companies. This company is new to me and apparently was established in 2011 (per their website) but the owner has been in the business since 1971. The website says they own their own GMP factory in the U.S. and they use their own lab to test their products.I have tried l-carnitine, which is slightly different from this acetyl-l-carnitine. Both can be produced within the body, but only the acetyl form can cross the blood-brain barrier.The bottle says 2250 mg per serving (3 capsules), so each capsule is 750 mg.Although I would prefer it with fewer fillers (magnesium stearate, rice powder, calcium silicate, silica), this supplement seems to be good quality.
