I got this pattern to make vests for 3 girls size 10-12. I used the size 14 but it was way too small. I’d say this pattern is better for a size 8 and under. Very cute patterns though! –

No compression for me
I got a size Medium after reading reviews saying this runs too small and after looking at the size guide. This didnât work at all for me. Not only was there no compression on my arms (except at the elastic lace band) but the fit was terrible – lots of bunching and the neck and shoulders. Thereâs no way this wouldnât be visible under a shirt. Also, it was too tight under the armpits but at the same time falling off. Iâm a fairly fit 5â6â, 122 lbs, and I donât have âbig bonesâ as they say. Perhaps a Small would have provided more compression and a better overall fit across my back, but donât think I could deal with the additional tightness around the armpit soâ¦this one is being returned.

Material doesnât breathe and fit is odd.
I didnât love this because the fabric doesnât really stretch so it didnât compress the way I wanted it to. It also has a weird seam at the top of the arm that caused it to fit strangely.

Nice product but the first one I ordered was too tight. This one is a size larger than what I usually would wear and it’s fine now.

Fantastic post arm lipo alternative
I had upper arm lipo & was given cloth wraps to wear for six weeks to shape the arms & reduce swelling. Those were impossible to fasten & secure. Right away I knew I needed an alternative. I found this arm compression “bolero” & it has been amazing. The other reviewers suggested sizing up 2 sizes & they were right. Hopefully my arms will get smaller as the swelling goes down so I can order a size down to maintain the correct amount of compression. For now, this sleeve is perfect, I have no discomfort with it at all. My PA had me send her the information on what I ordered so she can share it with other patients. Highly recommended!
