Great cutting boards that are built to last
These are sturdy, well built cutting boards and I am happy to have purchased them. They are packed and presently elegantly and perhaps to a level above their price point so that is a plus. They are smooth and don’t appear to be getting cut up after the first few uses. Customer support is great and quickly responded to a minor shipping issue that was no fault of their own. Will do business with SMIRLY again but don’t think it will be for cutting boards for quite some time ð.

First set lasted 5 years even though I was a bad owner!
I bought a set of these back in 2021 and honestly didn’t take the best care of them but they held up really well over the years. Multiple moves did cause one of them to break but that was just because of poor packing on my part. The ones I had came in a four pack and also had a stand. I was bummed that I needed to replace them not expecting to easily find some I liked. Was so happy to find them under my purchase again section! I just clicked but again not even looking to see that they were now a three pack. I was so surprised to get them in such a nice box and that they were all a little bigger than my old ones. Time will tell if they hold up as well as my old ones did but I plan on actually taking good care of them this time around! I do wish I had of seen that they had multiple types of wood since I would have went will the walnut ones if I had of actually clicked on them to look but I was so happy to see that they still had them. My last set were durable and worked well. They were just heavy enough to stay put when using them but not so heavy that they are annoying to use. They strike a good balance. Here’s hoping I see another 5 years or more out of this set!

Replacement Is Perfect! (Warped After A Week)
UPDATE (10 May 2025): I was contacted by Smirly after posting my original review and offered a full refund or a replacement. Since I very much like the cutting boards and wanted to give them another shot, I opted for the replacement. I have since received the replacement boards and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. They are flat! And they look, as with the originals, to be really well made, high quality, solid wood. I will update my review further in a couple of weeks, as necessary. I have to say, I am thoroughly IMPRESSED with Smirlyâs customer service and willingness to correct my issue. Thank you, Smirly! :DOriginal Review: I am extremely disappointed with what I thought would be great, high quality cutting boards. Not because the wood is poor or theyâre coming apart/delaminating, but because they WARPED! All three boards warped over the course of a week just sitting in the stand. They arrived flat, but within a week after arrival (HAVING NOT BEEN USED AT ALL!) all three cutting boards are now warped and do not sit flat on the counter. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I am so disappointed.On the positive side, the design of the tray is really nice and super functional. The thickness of the wood is substantial and feels really sturdy. The sizes of the cutting boards are also very nice, providing options for all sorts of food prep.I just wish that they had stayed flat!

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband – judging by the way he insists on chopping all fresh vegetables and herbs these days I would say they were a huge hit. . . 3 different sizes makes them perfect to choose the right board for the right job – quality is excellent and they look nice on the counter.

No more micro plastics in our food!
Amazing, love all 3 use the smaller 2 the most, hubby uses the Big one for smoked brisket etc. The stand is perfect! Bought these because I could no longer ignore the thought of micro plastics from our plastic cutting boards being in our food! Do get some food grade oil to rub down as they advise to help them last longer.

Nice looking cutting boards, good size. I bought the proper oil to care for them and apply once a week. I wash them with warm soapy water and dry immediately after each use. Despite proper care they have cracked in several places and there are splinters coming out everywhere. Disappointed.

This product came packaged extremely well. Boxed, plasticed and in its own nicely designed box. The cutting boards are bigger than what I thought which makes me happy. They are well made and has a bit of weight to them. There is handle groves on the underside edge and a good slant-groove to collect the juices of what your chopping/cutting. The stand is perfect so you have a spot to put your boards and to nicely display them in your kitchen. Comes with care instructions. A solid product for price.

When they arrive they look great. The first problem I encountered is that whatever finish they used on the bamboo to have this darker color comes off with water, if you cut anything that is watery it’ll glbe stained by it. Just washing it the water came out brown, hopefully it’s at least one food grade…One of the boards after 4 or 5 normal uses and cleaning started splintering and there’s a huge crack that spans the entire board. It will most likely fully detach in a couple of months.I’ve had cutting boards last years, this one, maybe it’ll last 4 or 5 months. Bad quality.
