Love the fabric cover and handles
These hand weights work great. They are made up of little sealed bags of beads (think bean bag chair, but much more densely filled) that are inside a zippered fabric sleeve. Because the sleeve has an integrated handle they are perfect for running or walking, or for any kind of exercise where you want a bit of weight in your hand. I think these are also a great option for older folks whose grip strength isn’t what it used to be, so they can just slip a hand through the handle thus making it much easier to hold on to. They are also color coded by weight , but also with the weight clearly indicated by a “1”, “2” or “3” on each end of the cylindrical tube.I mentioned the cover has a zipper. Because it has that you can actually remove the sealed weight bag if you need to clean the outside cover. That being said, though, that’s a tough process; the zipper is only half the circumference of the end, so it doesn’t open up the end fully. And that means you have to fight that being in the way. It would be a lot easier if the zipper went all the way around, but I suspect it’s done the way it is to avoid inadvertently tearing it off. So, not only is it a bit tedious to remove the bag, but it’s very difficult (well, it was for me) to get back in. Not impossible, but just a tedious task. I don’t expect I will be doing that very often.

Really good quality and just what I was looking for. Love that I can take the fabric covers off and clean them. I will say that some of them came with stains on them already which I’m not sure if its dye or oil or what, but I could not remove the stains. Not a huge deal and still good.

Weights are great, but…
The weights are great, but the seller is awful. Took over a week to ship the item despite being on Prime. Denied my request to cancel the order as well.

Good quality, easy to hold light weights
This is a set of 3lb, 2lb and 1lb soft weights (interior is a sand bag that you could remove for cleaning if needed- I did not). They provide I nice resistance on arm toning days where I am doing more reps for longer periods of time. They are very easy to hold and identify what each one weighs. I also have taken them out on walks for some extra resistance and had no issue with hanging on to them. The 1lb ones are tiny enough that you could tuck them in your pockets if you wanted to free up your hands.They are well made and holding up to use.

nice NON-MARKING weight set
We have a set of weights that are coated in something – something that is supposed to be non-marking. Well, it might not mark but it sure leaves marks behind on some surfaces!So, when I saw these, I ordered a set for my wife.The 1 – 2 – 3 pound dumbbells are perfect for use when walking the block or even doing some very low impact weight training.These are coated with fabric and do not mark whatever they are put on. The ‘handle’ makes it easy to carry or use. They are soft and won’t dent surfaces that you might bump into with them.The different color for each weight is handy so that you can easily grab a matching weight for whatever you want to use them doing.Inside, the pellets are enclosed in a durable plastic bag so you can remove the weight from the fabric outside in case you need to clean/wash it.Great little set of dumbbells.

Perfect for easing into fitness
Due to many health problems and âlazinessâ, I have not exercised for a long time. I have been walking nearly every day since the weather became nicer. I had a chronic injury of my elbow ligament that required surgery. My arm was in a sling for 2 months and literally atrophied. It was half the size of my normal arm, from muscle wasting. I have been gradually building my strength up with just daily use, and it appears normal now. Itâs been 6 months since surgery and I can start to train it a bit more. Iâm starting off with the one pound weights. These are well made, pleasant to carry, and perfect for gradual rehabilitation and strengthening. Starting light, if my injured arm hurts too much 3/4 way through my walk, I can carry both in my good hand/arm. Plus the colors are cute.
