This Works for me
OK. So first off I do not take this product and sit on the couch hoping that by flicking the remote it will help me lose a few pounds. I am a triathlete and I train hard. But I was looking to lose more weight as I am still a little on the heavier side. I started taking this along with NOW Foods Cinnamon Bark 600mg, 240 Capsules and I swear to you the weight started to just melt off. Now I was already training hard but the weight was not really consistently coming off. And it was more in the one pound a week area. Since adding this new regime of the cinnamon Bark and this twice a day with meals I have been dropping 2.6 pounds a week. Now I am also restricting my diet, and working out like a fiend. But I was doing that before as well and not losing as much. So I heartily endorse this product as part of an entire weight lose regime. Like anything if you just take this with your Big Mac and hope to lose some lbs…I doubt you are going to see any differnece. But for me with training it has been fantastic.

Have been taking this supplement for nearly 2 years now, upon recommendation from both my rheumatologist and endocrinologist.Does not upset my system, and helps muscle tissue. Great product from a great company. I trust quality from Solgar, and it delivers.My rheumatologist had suggested that I get 1300 mg since that would assure delivery of the targeted 1200 mg per dose. I take as per instructions: 1 tablet at breakfast) and 1 at dinner. Needs to be taken with food.

I should have known better
I should have known better than to expect results from yet another miracle supplement but hey, I was frustrated with the extra belly pudge and wanted to see if the Tonalin would give my diet a little extra boost. Notice how most of the positive reviews say something to the effect that they ate “a sensible calorie controlled diet and exercise[d] daily?” Well, therein lies the key to weight loss. I took one, twice a day, per the instructions. I did lose weight while taking this product, however, it was likely due to me replacing one meal with a salad and increasing my physical activity over a month’s time. The 3-5lb weight loss was not significant enough to be attributed to the Tonalin, and since I’ve stopped taking it I’ve noticed no increase in weight or belly fat. I have however continued with my diet and exercise program. Since human studies on the use of CLA are mixed at best, I imagine you could take sugar pills and realize the same results.

It must have helped…
I used this for three months, religiously. Four capsules daily and my overall body fat DID decrease, it was particularly noticeable in my thighs. The saddlebags I’ve been carrying around seemed to start shrinking. Thank you!! I’ve read CLA is supposed to target belly fat primarily but I’m an extreme pear shape and it still helped me lose fat where I store it the most. I stopped using it for six weeks and I noticed my thighs started getting fatter. If you’re a pear shape then you know exactly what I mean when I say the saddlebags were getting “fatter.” I’m not saying this is a miracle or that you are going to lose tons of weight because of this alone BUT it did help me. I just read where some health guru Dr. says that you should take SIX capsules daily for maximum results, so I’m going to TRY to do that and I’ll update my review.

Solgar’s Tonalin 1250 mg helped me shed 40 pounds!
I discovered Solgar’s Tonalin 1250 mg at my favorite health food store a few years ago. One of the clerks told me they have a customer who comes in every year a month or so before her cruise buying several bottles (she says it helps her to get in swimsuit shape). You take one twice a day, eat a sensible calorie controlled diet and exercise daily. The first week I lost 5 pounds. I lost the same amount the second week. Then a steady 3 and 4 pounds each week thereafter. Since that time I have shed several dresses sizes, 40 pounds and have maintained the weight lost to date.

I have been taking this for about 3 months now. I have noticed that my stomach is less flabby, my back has less wrinkles on it and I feel great! I have also lost over 10 pounds since I started using it. This product should be used while exercising and drinking a lot of water. Also, expect a slow progression of weight loss.. The weight doesn’t come off overnight.
