Excellent Starting Place
This is an excellent cookbook for high-protein/low-carb dishes. The directions are clear and straightforward, and the final dish is accompanied by a wonderful picture. I have prepared five of the recipes, and they were delicious. I am not a cook, hence the beginner’s mode, and this has been an excellent place to start. I highly recommend it.

It’s good, but meal plan need adjustments
The explanations at the beginning are great! And the recipes are easy and fun, which can really help to avoid repeating same meals over and over again.I do have questions to the meal plan… I counted calorie per day for the first day of first week and they are way to low, if you do exact recipes as listed in the book.For example, I need 1900 calories per day for slow weight loss (via formulas that provided in the book) and the first day would give me 1110 cal (just added cal listed in recipes macros).Maybe, in other days they are better, but it is dangerous to undereat that much, so I’d say either we’d need to add more meals per day (more snacks or so) or modify the recipe (for example, I plan to add chicken to egg salad so I can hit my daily protein goal and get calories closer to my need and etc).Other then that – the book is very helpful and easy to use!
